Two women file federal civil lawsuit accusing Matt Gaetz of sex trafficking

Two women, identified as Jane Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2, filed a 38-page federal civil complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida accusing former Rep. Matt Gaetz, former Florida state Rep. Chris Dorworth, and former Seminole County tax collector Joel Greenberg of involvement in a sex trafficking scheme involving drugs and interstate travel. The lawsuit alleges Gaetz paid the plaintiffs approximately $10,000 for sexual encounters while he was in Congress. Gaetz denied the allegations, stating much of the conduct alleged against him is false and that he looks forward to deposing the plaintiffs.
