Republican super PACs withdraw funding from vulnerable House incumbents to shore up safer seats ahead of 2026 midterms

The Congressional Leadership Fund, aligned with House Speaker Mike Johnson, and MAGA Inc. super PACs are pulling approximately $10 million from the races of Reps. Tom Kean Jr. (NJ) and Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA), as well as abandoning efforts to flip two Democratic-held seats in Ohio and Michigan. The funds are being redirected to other incumbent Republicans in battleground districts including Pennsylvania, Texas, Wisconsin, Virginia, and Michigan. The moves come three weeks before the November 3 election.
