Kacey Musgraves makes anti-Columbus remarks at Dallas concert and exchanges barbs with Kristi Noem over James Talarico photos
Country singer Kacey Musgraves called Christopher Columbus a 'loser' at her Dallas concert on Sunday and criticized Kristi Noem on social media after Noem posted about Talarico attending the show. Noem had declared she preferred Ella Langley over Musgraves and Ken Paxton over James Talarico, to which Musgraves replied with a reference to Noem's publicized decision to shoot her dog Cricket. The exchanges occurred in the context of the 2026 Texas Senate race between Democrat Talarico and Republican Paxton.
