Selma Blair arrested after alleged assault of flight attendants, police officer, and nurse on Delta flight from Los Angeles to New York

Actress Selma Blair, 54, was taken into custody late Sunday night at JFK Airport after Delta Air Lines flight 938 arrived from Los Angeles, following reports of a physically abusive passenger who injured two flight attendants. Blair was charged with two counts of second-degree assault for allegedly kicking a Port Authority officer and a nurse after landing; the FBI also issued her a summons for assaults aboard the aircraft. Her attorney said Blair missed medication, hit her head on the plane, and was in a state of severe confusion, while Blair's representative described the incident as a medical emergency.

The split, in one line
Most outlets report the same core facts; Daily Wire and Washington Examiner lead with biting and trying to open the plane door, while AP, NPR, and Globe and Mail foreground the medical emergency framing. The NY Post uniquely emphasizes screaming maniacally and being dragged off, while Times of Israel focuses on Blair's Jewish identity and advocacy.
