Defense technology firm Anduril Industries announced it will invest $3.7 billion to develop a new shipyard called Arsenal-2 at Tradepoint Atlantic in Sparrows Point, Maryland, to manufacture components for Virginia-class attack submarines. The Navy also awarded Anduril a $2.9 billion contract, bringing total investment to over $6.6 billion.
