Jordanian authorities detained Saif al-Din Khader, a suspected member of the ShinyHunters hacking group, around September 29, 2026, and he is cooperating with FBI investigators. Dutch police had previously arrested a 24-year-old identified as Pepijn van der Stap on September 15, 2026, as an alleged leader of the group. ShinyHunters claimed responsibility for defacing the FBI's jobs website and stealing data on FBI employees in September 2026.
