The Senate approved legislation early Friday morning via voice vote to fund most Department of Homeland Security agencies, excluding Immigration and Customs Enforcement and parts of Customs and Border Protection. The bill funds TSA, Coast Guard, FEMA, and other DHS components after a 42-day shutdown. Republicans plan to fund the excluded immigration enforcement agencies later through reconciliation.
