John Anthony Proia III, 41, of Waltham, Massachusetts, was indicted on one count of cyberstalking for allegedly making more than 40 calls and texts to conservative podcaster Katie Miller and her family between August and September 2026. The investigation led to the reassignment of two senior FBI counterterrorism agents at the Washington Field Office. Proia appeared in federal court in Boston on October 1, 2026.
