Ten patients died in a fire at the trauma care ICU of SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack, Odisha on Monday around 02:30 local time. The fire is suspected to have been caused by an electrical short circuit. Eleven hospital staff were injured while rescuing patients, and the state government has ordered a judicial inquiry.
