A Palestinian man drove a vehicle into Israeli soldiers at a checkpoint near the settlement of Beit Horon in the occupied West Bank, injuring Neria Leiter, son of Israeli Ambassador to the US Yechiel Leiter. The driver, 29-year-old Mahmoud Suleiman, was shot and killed at the scene. The attack occurred one day before Prime Minister Netanyahu's scheduled UN speech.
