US Postal Service seeks temporary 8% price increase on Priority Mail and other shipping products
The U.S. Postal Service filed notice with the Postal Regulatory Commission on Wednesday seeking a temporary 8% charge on Priority Mail Express, Priority Mail, USPS Ground Advantage, and Parcel Select products to cover rising transportation costs. The price increase would take effect on April 26 and remain in place until January 17, 2027, pending final approval. First-Class Stamps would not be affected by the increase.
