DoorDash agrees to $131.5 million settlement with New York City for underpaying delivery workers
New York City announced a $131.5 million settlement with DoorDash over allegations of underpaying more than 260,000 delivery workers between December 2023 and June 2026. Approximately $115 million will go to affected workers and $16 million to civil penalties. The settlement, described as the largest worker settlement in city history, also requires DoorDash to submit to monitoring of its pay practices.
