Russia's ruling United Russia party won the State Duma election held over three days from September 18-20, 2026, securing approximately 58% of the party-list vote and a projected record 355 of 450 seats. The election was the first parliamentary vote since the 2022 invasion of Ukraine and included voting in four Ukrainian regions illegally annexed by Moscow. Most genuine opposition candidates were barred from participating.
