Mohammad Sharifullah, an Afghan national and ISIS-K member, was sentenced to 20 years in prison by a federal court in Virginia for providing material support to the terrorist organization. Sharifullah was captured in early 2025 by Pakistani intelligence and the CIA and extradited to the United States.
