Los Angeles DA declines to seek death penalty for Nick Reiner in parents' murder case
Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman announced on September 15, 2026, that prosecutors will not seek the death penalty against Nick Reiner, who is charged with the December 14, 2025 stabbing deaths of his parents, filmmaker Rob Reiner and Michele Reiner.
