Next round of Israel-Lebanon talks postponed from September to October

The next round of US-mediated Israel-Lebanon talks, originally scheduled for the week of September 12 in Rome, has been postponed to October 2026. Israel and Lebanon's ambassadors will still meet at the US State Department to discuss implementing a framework deal meant to disarm Hezbollah and phase the IDF out of southern Lebanon.
