United States commemorates the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks

On September 11, 2026, ceremonies were held at Ground Zero in New York, the Pentagon in Virginia, and the Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville, Pennsylvania to mark 25 years since the 2001 terrorist attacks. Nearly 3,000 people were killed when hijacked planes struck the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and a field in Pennsylvania. President Donald Trump spoke at the Pentagon ceremony while Vice President JD Vance and four former presidents attended the New York ceremony.

The split, in one line
The right fixates on Mamdani laughing at victims' names and Islamophobia framing; the left highlights toxic air cover-up and War on Terror's toll; wires and international outlets simply mark the anniversary.
