Uganda's military chief Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba announced Uganda's withdrawal from the Invictus Games via a post on X, citing respect for King Charles III. The announcement follows a letter issued on behalf of King Charles clarifying that Prince Harry and Meghan are not working royals. Uganda had joined the Games as the 26th participating country approximately two months earlier.
