IAEA reports North Korea built new uranium enrichment facility at Yongbyon

The IAEA reported that North Korea has constructed a new two-storey uranium enrichment facility at the Yongbyon nuclear complex, capable of housing up to 28 centrifuge cascades. The agency also noted operations had begun at an expanded annex at the Kangson enrichment site. IAEA Director Rafael Grossi called the expansion a violation of UN Security Council resolutions and a cause for serious concern.
