Chris Pappas and John Sununu win New Hampshire Senate primaries to face off in November
Democratic Rep. Chris Pappas defeated progressive challenger Karishma Manzur, and former Republican Sen. John E. Sununu defeated Scott Brown in New Hampshire's primary elections for the open U.S. Senate seat being vacated by retiring Sen. Jeanne Shaheen. The November general election is expected to be competitive and could influence control of the Senate. Multiple House and gubernatorial primaries were also decided, including Stefany Shaheen winning the Democratic nomination for the 1st Congressional District.
