YouGov poll finds partisan divide on 9/11 attention ahead of 25th anniversary
A YouGov survey conducted August 20-23 among 1,098 U.S. adults found 13% of Democrats say Americans focus too much on 9/11, compared to 5% of Republicans and 6% of independents. Overall, 46% said the level of attention is about right, while 27-28% said too little. The poll also found partisan divides on whether the war on terror was worth the cost, with 71% of Republicans saying yes versus 37% of Democrats.
