Pennsylvania police officer charged with voluntary manslaughter in fatal shooting of college student
Upper Pottsgrove Police Cpl. Sean Farrell, 58, was charged with voluntary manslaughter in the August 23, 2026 shooting death of 22-year-old Glenwood Earl Pysher IV. Montgomery County DA Kevin Steele said Farrell had less-than-lethal options available, including a taser, and that Pysher was unarmed with his hands raised when shot twice in the chest from 17 to 20 feet away.
