Whistleblower alleges USPS rushed and untested mail ballot system could disenfranchise voters ahead of 2026 midterms
An anonymous federal whistleblower released a disclosure through Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) alleging the U.S. Postal Service is rushing an untested online portal system for mail ballot verification under Trump's March executive order. The whistleblower claims the system, built in approximately three months, could cause mass ballot rejection due to a zero-percent failure policy. A federal judge temporarily blocked enforcement of the rule, and the Justice Department is appealing.
