Judge rules Tyler Robinson will stand trial for killing Charlie Kirk
Utah District Judge Tony Graf ruled on September 1, 2026 that Tyler Robinson, 23, will stand trial on all seven counts including aggravated murder for the shooting death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025. The ruling keeps the death penalty eligible if Robinson is convicted. Robinson pleaded not guilty to all charges after the ruling.
