Israel and Greece signed a $3.5 billion (approximately €3 billion) defense agreement on August 31, 2026, for Israel to supply Greece with an integrated multi-layered air defense network called Achilles Shield. The deal includes David's Sling, SPYDER, BARAK MX systems, MMR radars, and a national command-and-control system, plus a separate $30 million Drone Dome counter-UAV agreement. It is the largest defense export deal in Israel-Greece relations and one of the largest in Israel's history.
