Minnesota Supreme Court rejects Mike Lindell's recount bid for gubernatorial primary
The Minnesota Supreme Court rejected MyPillow founder Mike Lindell's request for a recount of the August 11 Republican gubernatorial primary, in which he lost to Minnesota House Speaker Lisa Demuth by 11 points. Chief Justice Natalie E. Hudson wrote in a six-page ruling that Lindell's claim "fails on the merits" and that he confused the purpose of a recount with an election contest. Lindell stated he plans to appeal the ruling to the U.S. Supreme Court.
