Mario Fernandez Saldana, 38, was convicted of first-degree murder and solicitation of murder in the 2022 shooting death of Jared Bridegan, a Microsoft design manager, in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Prosecutors said Fernandez Saldana hired Henry Tenon to carry out the killing, motivated by a custody dispute between Bridegan and his ex-wife Shanna Gardner, who is married to Fernandez Saldana. Gardner's trial is set for September 2026, and Tenon is scheduled to stand trial in 2027.
