Rob Sand, the Democratic nominee for Iowa governor, told Politico that Kamala Harris should not run for president in 2028 and that he does not want her or Joe Biden campaigning for him in Iowa. Iowa's Democratic Senate nominee Josh Turek and Alaska Senate candidate Mary Peltola also distanced themselves from Harris.
