FDA approves daraxonrasib, a first-in-class pancreatic cancer drug developed by Revolution Medicines.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved daraxonrasib (brand name Rasonque), a once-daily pill made by Revolution Medicines, for adults with metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma who have received prior treatment. The approval came approximately six months ahead of the FDA's target date following expedited review. In a 500-patient trial, the drug nearly doubled median survival to 13.2 months compared to 6.7 months on standard chemotherapy.
