Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley in all eight Harry Potter films from 2001 to 2011, will join the Broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Lyric Theatre for a 17-week run from February 2 to May 30, 2027. He is the second original film cast member to join the stage production, following Tom Felton's run as Draco Malfoy. Producers Sonia Friedman and Colin Callender announced the casting.
