Tom Steyer declined to grade Gavin Newsom's performance as California governor during a television interview
California gubernatorial candidate Tom Steyer refused to give Governor Gavin Newsom a letter grade for his two terms in office during an interview on KCRA's 'California Politics 360' program. Steyer said he hadn't 'followed it closely enough' to provide a grade, though he acknowledged that people have come to appreciate how Newsom has stood up for California. The interview was conducted by political director Ashley Zavala.
