Alex Justin Miller, a 26-year-old Columbus, Ohio resident, was arrested and charged with interstate transmission of a threat to injure after sending an email on August 18, 2026, threatening to kill Rep. Randy Fine (R-FL) and his family. The email also directed a death threat at President Donald Trump. Miller faces up to five years in federal prison if convicted.
