Wildfire in rural Texas forces evacuations across two counties

The Ross Fire began Monday afternoon in north central Texas and burned over 78 square miles across two counties, destroying at least five structures. Evacuations were ordered and schools were closed or delayed. Firefighters also continued battling the Hawk Fire near Reno, Nevada, which destroyed more than 30 homes and injured at least seven people.
