Epic Games lays off more than 1,000 employees
Epic Games announced it is cutting more than 1,000 jobs, representing about 20% of its workforce. The company cited industry-wide challenges including slower growth and weaker spending, as well as declining engagement with its flagship game Fortnite. After the layoffs, Epic will have approximately 4,000 employees remaining.
