Trump administration plans to revoke up to 200,000 B1 and B2 visas from foreigners who applied for asylum
The State Department is preparing to revoke business and tourism visas of up to 200,000 foreigners who entered the U.S. on B1 or B2 visas and subsequently applied for or are seeking asylum. The visas targeted were issued between 2016 and 2026. The revocations would be carried out on a rolling basis in coordination with DHS and would not necessarily result in immediate deportation.
