Venice Film Festival adds Gaza documentary NAZA to main competition lineup

The Venice Film Festival added NAZA, a documentary about Palestinian civilian killings during the Israel-Hamas war, to its main competition lineup. The film is co-directed by Israeli filmmakers Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, who previously directed the Oscar-winning documentary No Other Land. It is the only documentary competing for the Golden Lion award at the festival, which runs September 2-12, 2025.
