Former two-time world boxing champion Zolani Tete, 38, was shot dead on August 21, 2026, outside his home in Mdantsane, Eastern Cape, South Africa. Four suspects aged 22 to 28 were arrested over the weekend. A 27-year-old woman in Tete's car was also shot and hospitalized.
