Additionally, many feeds (especially Google News-proxied sources like CNN, NYT, WSJ, WaPo) can take 10-20+ hours to index new articles. Ceuta begins burying migrants who died in Spain's deadliest border crisis
Eighteen unidentified migrants were buried in a Muslim cemetery in Ceuta on Friday after more than 90 people died during a mass border crossing from Morocco in late July. Over 72,000 people surged into the Spanish territory, and a Moroccan human rights NGO called for the burials to be halted pending identification and repatriation. Ceuta's city government said repatriation paperwork was complete but Morocco had not accepted it.
