U.S. Army unit offers four-day pass to play Grand Theft Auto VI as reenlistment incentive
The 9th Brigade Engineer Battalion at Fort Stewart, Georgia, is offering soldiers a four-day pass timed around the November 19, 2026 release of Grand Theft Auto VI if they sign reenlistment contracts between August 1 and November 14, 2026. At least 20 of approximately 130 eligible soldiers have signed up, requiring a commitment of two to six additional years of service. The incentive was proposed by a career counselor and confirmed by Army spokesperson Lt. Col. Angel Tomko.
