FBI seized electronic devices from former Rep. Eric Swalwell and searched his Washington home as part of a sexual misconduct investigation.

On August 15-16, 2026, federal agents seized electronic devices from former Rep. Eric Swalwell at San Francisco International Airport and executed a search warrant at his Washington, D.C. residence. The investigation stems from sexual assault and misconduct allegations by multiple women that led to Swalwell's resignation from Congress in April 2026. Swalwell has denied the allegations.
