AP-NORC poll finds support for Israel less central to younger Jewish Americans' identity

An AP-NORC poll of 1,022 Jewish adults found that support for Israel is less important to younger Jewish Americans than to older ones. About 4 in 10 religious Jewish adults under 45 say supporting Israel is highly important to their Jewish identity, compared to about half of older religious Jewish adults. Younger Jewish adults are more likely to prioritize celebrating Jewish holidays and other religious practices.
