Senator Lindsey Graham dies at 71 following aortic dissection
Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina died Saturday night at age 71 after being transported to George Washington University Hospital following chest pains at his Capitol Hill home. The Washington DC medical examiner issued a preliminary finding that he died of an aortic dissection caused by cardiovascular disease. Graham had returned earlier that day from a trip to Ukraine and Turkey where he announced White House agreement on a bipartisan Russia sanctions bill.
