Two people were killed and at least four others wounded in a shooting at the Salsa on St. Clair Latin music festival in Toronto on Saturday, July 12, 2026. Toronto police Deputy Chief Frank Barredo said gunfire was exchanged between individuals at approximately 8:12 p.m. near St. Clair Avenue West and Arlington Avenue, with around 13,000 people in attendance. Two firearms were recovered across three crime scenes, no arrests had been made, and the festival's second day was cancelled.
