The Bayeux Tapestry arrived at the British Museum in London on loan from France.
The 70-metre medieval artwork was transported from France to the British Museum under police escort through the Channel Tunnel. It will be displayed from September 10 until July 2027. The loan was announced during French President Emmanuel Macron's state visit in July 2025.
