Marine veteran and ministry leader Victor Marx won the Republican primary for Colorado governor, defeating state Sen. Barbara Kirkmeyer and state Rep. Scott Bottoms in the June 30 election. Marx will face Democratic Attorney General Phil Weiser in November to succeed term-limited Gov. Jared Polis.
