An Arizona toddler was found alive in a hospital morgue after being declared dead from a near-drowning.
An 18-month-old boy was pulled from a backyard pool in Gilbert, Arizona on February 8 and pronounced dead at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center. Approximately five hours later, a medical examiner discovered the child was still breathing in the hospital morgue. The child was airlifted to another hospital for further treatment.
