Bekhzod Asrarov, 42, an Uzbek national who entered the US through the diversity visa lottery program in 2024, is accused of ramming his semi-truck into the back of a vehicle on Interstate 71 in Ohio on July 5, 2026, killing 21-year-old University of Massachusetts Lowell soccer goalie Tobias Forsythe. Asrarov allegedly attempted to destroy his dash cam and other devices after the crash and reportedly could not speak English.
