Paris opens three supervised Seine swimming spots for the second consecutive summer.

The city of Paris opened three free, supervised swimming areas in the Seine for the second year in a row. The sites, located near City Hall, the Eiffel Tower, and in eastern Paris, will remain open through the summer depending on water quality and weather. Swimming in the Seine had been banned for approximately a century prior to 2024 due to poor water quality.
