U.S. Park Police officer shot while on duty in Washington D.C.

A U.S. Park Police officer was shot at approximately 7:30 p.m. Monday in southeast Washington D.C. while driving an unmarked vehicle during an undercover investigation. The officer was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Two suspects remain at large and the incident is under investigation.
