Amnesty International reports RSF committed crimes against humanity in el-Fasher siege.

Amnesty International released a report accusing Sudan's Rapid Support Forces of crimes against humanity and ethnic cleansing during their siege and capture of el-Fasher in North Darfur between 2024 and 2025. The report, based on 247 interviews, documented systematic attacks on civilians including murder, rape, and targeting of children. A UN fact-finding mission had previously said the assault bore the hallmarks of genocide.
